A Restored Mind, PLLC, founded by April Roberson, MSN, RN, BCN, focuses on neurofeedback services for people of all ages. After being inspired by the results, neurofeedback gave her own child, April trained with neurofeedback experts and became board-certified in Neurofeedback services. A Restored Mind offers personalized care, utilizing Neurofeedback to address behavioral, emotional and learning challenges. Our goal is to help clients overcome challenges and become the very best version of themselves.
Meet April
April Roberson, MSN, RN, BCN, has over 20 years of experience as a Registered Nurse specializing in the care of pediatrics and adults in a variety of clinical settings. April earned an Associate’s Degree in Nursing from Forsyth Technical Community College, a Bachelor’s of Science in Nursing from Winston Salem State University, and a Masters of Science in Nursing from East Carolina University. She is board certified in Neurofeedback through the Biofeedback Certification International Alliance and is a member of the International Society for Neuroregulation and Research.
As a wife and mother of three children, April knows first-hand the difficulties of parenting a dysregulated child. As a foster parent, April learned the challenges of finding resources readily available to help children with a history of developmental trauma overcome struggles with behavior and emotion regulation. While researching possible treatment and services for her own adopted child, April learned about Neurofeedback and began services her child. After experiencing dramatic improvements in the behavior of her child, she decided to further her education then brought Neurofeedback services to the King, North Carolina community by founding A Restored Mind.
April’s passion is to meet clients where they are and develop individualized plans to help each person achieve their personal goals. Helping patients overcome past experiences, traumas, and achieve their personal goals inspires April to continue pursuing wellness for her community.

We are passionate about helping individuals of all ages who have special needs. Neurofeedback services are created for each individual client, taking into consideration current symptoms, future goals, and achievable milestones. Each client is a unique individual and each plan we create matches each client’s unique situation.
