We provide Quantitative EEG (qEEG) Brain Maps and Neurofeedback Services.  Neurofeedback is utilized for conditions that are the result of brain dysregulation. This includes the anxiety-depression spectrum, attention deficits, behavior disorders, migraines, emotional disturbances, PTSD and the Autism Spectrum. Neurofeedback is appropriate for use for clients of all ages beginning at age five. 

Neurofeedback is a data-based clinical practice. It is a non-drug, reward-based training system for your brain. EEG sensors monitor the your brainwaves and a computer sends feedback to you. There are different ways to receive this feedback. It can involved playing a game, listening to music or watching a video. 

The stimuli (game, music, or video) only operates smoothly when your brainwaves are functioning within an optimal range. This acts as a reward for your brain. When your brainwaves fire at a rate that's not optimal, you'll receive negative feedback (your movie pauses, the music stops, etc.). This tells your brain that something is out of balance and causes it to "figure out" how to return to a seamless movie, music, or game. Over the course of the training program, your brain learns from this feedback. This can promote lasting structural changes within your brain. The brain then consistently operates within a more optimal range outside of training sessions, alleviating your symptoms. 

Prior to beginning Neurofeedback training, a qEEG brain map is completed to identify those areas of the brain that are causing negative symptoms and/or behaviors. A client-focused training program is established based on the findings from the qEEG brain map.

It is important to note that qEEG brain maps and neurofeedback do not diagnose any medical or behavioral health conditions. It is simply a tool to decrease negative symptoms/behaviors to become the very best version of yourself!
